Kieran is my third born child and like his brother i miss him every single day.The day i had kieran i was so excited until all the medical staff started crowding round him and i had my worst fears confirmed, there was something wrong with my baby,after losing my first son 3 years before at 3 days old i just wanted to run away and take my baby with me.But the doctors took him away to examine him and for 10 days they didn't know what was wrong with him, they couldn't even tell me if he was a boy or a girl.After 10 days and numerous tests i finally had a diagnosis, he had smith lemli opitz syndrome which is a rare genetic disorder.Sadly kieran had type 1 which is not compatible with life so for 5 long weeks i had to watch my son get weaker and weaker,by the time the end came i was willing him to go and be at peace, i couldn't watch him suffer anymore and he had his big brother waiting for him.I know my two little angels are looking after each other.
